RAGNAROK TEAM is a sports association for boxing, MMA and grappling.

This club was created only 3 years ago by Ludovic CARPENTIER (former professional wrestler who became an MMA coach and fighter) in a small rural town in Aude and has since grown rapidly!

From the start, the mayor of Espéraza, Mr Christian SOULA, believed in this project and entrusted the association with an abandoned municipal premises.

A lot of money and energy have been deployed to create, month after month, a safe and inclusive environment to offer everyone access to mixed martial arts, but also the sharing of values such as respect, solidarity and self-control.

In 3 years, the number of members has multiplied by 3, new facilities have been put in place (tatamis, air conditioning, MMA cage, changing rooms, etc.) and some licensees have started a course to pass grades and of federal patents with the aim of becoming competitors and coaches in their turn.

This small association has become like a family for its members, and the values of solidarity and kindness have made it a beautifully atypical combat sports club.

Today the Ragnarok Team has yet another new project for which we are calling on collaborative support: promoting French MMA in Thailand!

We are already working on the creation of a structure, on the paradise island of Kho Phangan, which will be called “Ragnarok Team in Thailand”. The goal will be to transmit the values of our club beyond our borders. And also, of course, to work in collaboration with the Muay Thai clubs already there.

To carry out this project, we need to finance the construction of the future training camp. The latter will be composed, in addition to the training space, of accommodation and a catering/nutrition area in order to offer our fighters complete and optimal training. The aim of this collective project is to promote exchanges between France and Thailand, offer intensive courses and train fighters to lead them to victory.

But we are also keen to offer our 5 biggest donors the gift of participating in a training camp as soon as our structure opens in Kho Phangan! We will announce the names of these 5 people as soon as our first objective of €30,000 collected is reached. The plane tickets will be their responsibility but we will ensure their reception in Kho Phangn, their accommodation and their training.
